the clean apartment

for everyone who hasn't seen my apartment.. .thought i would post some pics just so you get the general idea.... i just finished cleaning when i took these pictures, but anyone who knows me knows it's usually clean anyways! :)

the one at the lake

these are some pics that i took last weekend when jess, craig, sam (cheryl's son, and my neighbour) and i went down to the lake (jess's grandfather's camp) for a bbq... just realized that i didn't even get a pic of me and jess at the lake.... uhhhh good one.






then i went down again on sunday to mom and dad's camp for supper cause it was father's day and mom's birthday.. made mom a cake for her birthday and we drooled over it all day cause we were waiting to have it for dessert after supper... well, just as mom was getting out of the car with it, the cover fell off and she went to catch it and the cake (LOL) flew off the pan and landed upside down on the ground.. hence "dump cake" LOL.. there was frosting everywhere.... i was laughing so hard i didn't get any pics of mom before she got all the frosting washed off her pants, shoes, feet.. HAHAHAHA

the one where things work out

Had a pretty good day off today, even though i thought i was going to have to go into work this afternoon for a bit. We were supposed to get a visit from the District Manager tomorrow so I wanted to go in just to make sure that everything was staying tidy.... I puttered around here this morning.. cleaning and watching movies.. talking to Cheryl and then went in around 1 with a coffee in hand.... but once i got there alan and craig (my managers) said they had just got off the phone with greg (the dm) and he wasn't coming after all.. I really didn't want to go to work anyway so i decided to go tanning :) i'm a little burned now but I was so excited that i didn't have to work! I just had a relaxing afternoon for the rest of the day and now i'm just getting ready for bed cause i have to work at 7am... uggh..

the first one

well.. this is my first official blog.. thanks kris for getting me addicted to reading yours all the time, but i must say that it is a good way to keep in touch and find out what's goin on in everyone's lives... I fear mine may be a bit boring cause all i do is work and sleep :) I'll probably copy your ideas kris just till i get used to it and come up with some good ones of my own.
I had a long day today and i think that'll be all for my first one... will try to write more later and let everyone know what's happening!
